The number of cultural and public health investments and institutions increased, especially the development of the ?80s is striking. In 1986 the Sports Hall was inaugurated, in 1991 The Town Hospital which was built completely from its own means.
Development was significant but this involved the large scale pollution of the environment and the destruction of Nature. We were among the most polluted towns.
