Life in the kindergarten in the past
Countess Adél Kálnoky founded the kindergarten in 1885 when she lost her only child from her second marriage.
The kindergarten was in a separate building at the back of the yard in the Cloister school, where children could go irrespective of their religion. This was the only kindergarten in Várpalota before 1945.
