Jewish school
A larger number of people with Jewish faith settled in Palota in 1735. In the years 1826-1840 they undertook to build a synagogue with a two classroom school behind it where a full-time teacher dealt with children. The school operated till 1924. After that children attended the calvinist school for daily lessons.
