Primary education(State, private and special schools)
The town maintains 5 primary schools with 8 forms where elementary education is carried on. In the Várkert primary and vocational school there is vocational training in the 9th and 10th form.
Options are increased by the Ability and Talent Development Private School that operates on a foundation basis. Education of children with slight mental handicap is conducted in Primary School Number 8 which is maintained by the County Council. Pupils with physical, sensual or other disorders are accommodated in small learning groups of the Zrinyi Ilona Primary School at the proposal of the educational counselling service.
