The geographic location of Várpalota, natural beauties of its surroundings, proximity of the Bakony and historic relics all give grounds for the town to deal with tourism to a larger extent and become an attractive tourist centre. As a result of recent environment protection investments air in our town has cleared, infrastructure has been completed. The settlement awaits its visitors with an ample number of places of interest and rich cultural programmes.
