 Twin town contacts
Even before the change in regime there was a demand for the town to step out of its isolation and establish international relations. This process was enforced after the change in regime. Twinning cooperation has evolved with three towns in three neighbouring countries: Wolfsberg in Austria, Kremnica in Slovakia and Petrosani in Romania. Not only have cultural, sports, economic contacts of our town developed, civil group, family and individual friendships have also evolved. Our presentation serves to acquaint our twin towns in the hope that towns will be chosen as touristic goals in both directions.
