Nitrogénművek Rt. (Nitrogen Works Co. Ltd.)
After the liquidation of the Péti Nitrogénművek (Pét Nitrogen Works) without a legal successor, at the end of January 1990 an eight member consortium established the Nitrogénművek Rt. (Nitrogen Works Co. Ltd. with exclusive foundation having a capital of 1.6 billion Forints. It then bought machines and equipment of Péti Nitrogénművek (Pét Nitrogen Works) and also took over its staff.
Since 1995 the company's largest proprietor is MOL Rt.
