English Places to see Zichy castle    Zichy castle   COUNT ZICHY CASTLE The castle built by Terézia Erdődy wife of count Imre Zichy II in the 1720s is situated on a point rising above the whole town near the Loncsos, behind the roman catholic church. Almost one and a half centuries later the building burned down. In 1863 János Waldstein landowner had it rebuilt on the basis of plans by Miklós Ybl.
