Establishment of twinning relations
Relations are based on mining and common historical past.
On 1st June 1956 sportsmen, official leaders and workers formed the delegation.
The twinning contract was signed on 7th October 1966.
Following the change in regime the contact almost completely stopped. The second phase in twinning relations started in 1996.
The twinning agreement was signed on 10th October 1998. The present contact between the two settlements is mainly in the field of cultural life, tourism and economy.
