At the time of the Hungarian conquest the territory of Ősi village became the estate of the chieftain Őse, its name derives from him.
In Spring and Autumn it is possible to ride. The village is characterized by the large numbers of storks nesting here which gives an opportunity to organize bird watching programmes.
