Várpalota and Region Environment Protection Rehabilitation Programme
In the Várpalota subregion between 1996 and 1998 a complex environment protection rehabilitation and development programme spanning communal services was carried out with help from the Japanese Government. As a result of development regional infrastructure was developed 100 percent in Várpalota: gas supply, sewers, sewage cleaning system, reconstruction of drinking water supply and the town district heating station was constructed.
