Other possibilities for civilized recreation
The old and the young could amuse themselves together at the Corvin cinema in the building of Hotel Erzsébet. The most favoured place for excursions was Pusztapalota and its environs.
The grape harvest festival was always organized by the youth of the Smallholder's Society and the Carters' Circle.
Corn husking and feather plucking was a winter amusement of the youth coupled with work.
During carnival time there was one ball after the other.
