Secondary education (grammar school, vocational school)
In the town there are two secondary schools, both of them are financed by the County Council.
The Thuri György Grammar School and Vocational school gives basic education (7-8th form), general grammar school education, as well as vocational training based on the matriculation exam.
The Faller Jenő Vocational Training School provides vocational training based on the 9-10th form as well as vocational training giving a matriculation exam and vocational training based on the matriculation exam. They operate a student hostel.
Students from the country in both institutions are accommodated in a student hostel with 100 places.
